Albuquerque Foothills, New Mexico

This shoot was the day after Christmas and SUCH a gift in itself to me!! I was absolutely honored to photograph this wonderful family all together in New Mexico, although they live across the country from one another! It was an absolutely gorgeous evening, the weather cooperated and it wasn't too cold and the wind was non-existent.. so it was pretty darn perfect for December in NM!
Carly found me by way of a dear friend, and it’s crazy how much we had in common right off the bat! First of all, Carly & Collin are a military family also and are currently living in northern Georgia with the U.S. Army.
Second, Carly is also a graduate of West Virginia University, AND also has family from Eastern Pennsylvania in the exact town that I actually lived for a few months back in 2012! It’s truly, such a small world. Collin & Carly just had their baby girl, Valentina, two months prior to, and brought her “home” to meet Collin’s family for Christmas.
This was my second-to-last session in 2020, and it was yet another blessing amidst the rather confusing year of 2020. I am always so thankful for personal referrals to serve others with photography and I hope you love these images from this session as much as I do!!

Thanks so much for reading!!
