Pittsburgh, PA

I could definitely just let these pictures speak for themselves at how incredible Nick and Katey’s wedding day was, but I have to say a few things first. First off, it’s always a joy to work with such faithful and kind people, and these two together, along with their families, are just that. Second, working with another military couple is always an added blessing, as it makes the world seem smaller, which is good when the people are as great at Nick and Katey.
Lastly, it was an honor and a dream to be present for another beautiful Catholic ceremony. Nick and Katey chose to incorporate an ancient European tradition in their ceremony, and said their vows over a blessed crucifix. This tradition dates back to the town of Siroki-Brijeg in Herzegovina, where not one single divorce has ever been recorded for centuries. This crucifix serves as an example of the love and the cross of marriage and life together.
And after the wedding, it will hang in their home as a reminder of their vows. The crucifix becomes the center point of the home and family, as they continuously turn to Jesus.
Incredible.
I loved working with these two, and there’s about 1,200 photos that I couldn’t fit into this post, but I desperately wanted to!!!! Congratulations to you both, please keep in touch!
