Greenville, Ohio

I have been looking forward to meeting Maegan and Shane ever since I first talked to Maegan on the phone in January. I love working with a bride who I feel like I could also personally be friends with outside of their wedding day. It makes everything so fun and easy. I’m always extra thankful when this scenario happens!
Maegan and Shane have beautiful families and their children are so blessed that they are surrounded by so much genuine love for their growing family and one another! Some of my favorite photographs are the ones that I captured of them with their kids, mostly candid shots. They’re the best.
Other than their evident gift of wonderful families, their wedding mass was planned with beautiful intentionality in a number of ways. And I do want to quickly touch on Father’s homily, as he chose to discuss the Gospel reading which was from the Gospel of John, Chapter 2: The Wedding at Cana. I ended up taking some notes in the car as we drove home Sunday because I wanted to remember this one…
“…The mother of God and Jesus were the only two guests who were named at the Wedding Feast of Cana. We don’t even know the bride and grooms names. Help was asked of Mary – who then in turn asked Jesus for help…”
“…I charge you to be the Bride and the Groom at the wedding feast at Cana. Ask the Blessed Mother and Jesus for their help…”
“…Go to the Blessed Mother when the “wine” has run low…”
What beautiful words.
I wanted to post this wedding highlight last week, but what better date for it to go live than today, August 15? Happy Feast of the Assumption of Mary into Heaven 🤍…
…And to Maegan and Shane: thank you so much for your trust in me as your wedding photographer!!! Hope you enjoy some of my favorites below!…

Thanks for reading!!
