A Summer Engagement Session by the Rio Grande River

The weather for this engagement session complimented this sweet couple more than words in a blog post can annotate!! It was PERFECT. The day featured the most gorgeous evening light that I have seen in a long time. There's been so many evening storms this summer, it was so nice to have an evening like this for Rachel and Andrew's session! Their entire session was in my new favorite Bosque location. It provides such a vast variety of locations all in one spot, within about a 15 minute radius hike.
Rachel and Andrew met in 2017 in Alabama, and married in a courthouse ceremony just 6 months later! They moved from Alabama to Germany shortly thereafter and adventured for several years before moving to New Mexico for their follow-on assignment. Chatting German familiarities with them was one of the aspects of meeting them that I was most exited about on this particular evening!
I am so excited to photograph their formal wedding day for them next September in Old Town, ABQ! Rachel told me her wedding colors, and they almost mirror mine and Austins’, so I’m a huge fan already. I had such a great evening with these two, and they look stunning in their pictures!!
Rachel and Andrew, thank you so much for trusting me as your photographer for such a memorable season in your lives together!! I hope you enjoy these as much as I do!..

Thanks for reading!!
xoxo,
Kaitlyn
