Veteran's Memorial Park | Rio Rancho, NM
Gosh, these pear tree blossoms are so breathtaking. I’m so thankful we have this little park close by here in Rio Rancho so that we can enjoy these beauties in the spring time! Alexis and Jimmy lucked out in having these blooming at their peak, so to have them featured in their engagement photos! The entire evening came together wonderfully, and I’m so happy that I got to hang out with them in this particular location for their session!
One of the best things about Alexis and Jimmy is that Austin and I have so much in common with them! Both are working as a dual military couple, and have a long distance engagement right now. They met back in 2020 and their first date was in Colorado Springs!
One thing that I can relate to very clearly, is the long distance engagement. It is not easy at all, but it’s beautiful and romantic at the same time. Distance really can make the heart grow fonder, because each time you see one another during this time, the butterflies are alive and well!
Alexis and Jimmy are planning their wedding for this September in Rio Rancho. They are celebrating it within the Sacrament of Matrimony and I am so excited to capture this special day for them later this fall! They are the sweetest couple, and you can tell from these photos that they share a special love, and I’m very excited for them to finally be together full time once they are married!
Enjoy checking out some of my favorite images from their session!!
